Anyway I'd worry that she'd claim it was me who abused the Nuneaton Carnival organiser.

Just like she claimed I was behind the Hitler comment.

All because she doesn't want another LGBTQ+ org in Nuneaton.

It's crazy. It's sad. It must stop.

Despite retracting her statement and apologising, she is now denying it ever happened, deleting people's comments and blocking people.

It's the same pattern of being the problem, playing victim, and silencing and gaslighting people.

Our communities deserve better.

Yes, I am aware that the person from Nuneaton Pride falsely accused the Nuneaton Carnival organiser of being homophobic/transphobic and was abusive to him in a phone call yesterday.

I'm aware she has now retracted that and apologised.

For me, the Hitler comment is no longer the most problematic part of this (as horrific as that is). The lies, abuse, and libel are far worse.

Taking responsibility and apologising could have made all this go away much quicker.

Instead, people are suffering because of this person's actions.

The victim has resigned from their union's LGBTQ+ group this week due to the racism and it not being dealt with by the union, on top of the hurt caused by the Hitler comment, the gaslighting, etc.

It paints a really disturbing picture that goes far beyond the Hitler comment.

Soooo the plot thickens. Last night a local LGBTQ+ person sent me information about them being racially abused by the person from Nuneaton Pride.

I believe the victim because the alleged pattern of behaviour is exactly what I have experienced.

Bully, victim blame, play the victim, lie.

Something I don't do is lie. Then I have nothing to hide. I also believe in transparency and accountability.

I'm far from perfect. But I'll always try to do the right thing and stand with people being abused, which is what is happening with Nuneaton Pride.

Gaslighting is abuse.

This must stop.

There is a lot that I can let go. This is not one of those times. This person must be held accountable for her actions.

The community deserves better.

She claims it's all a malicious campaign and that she can prove it. Yet she refuses to provide her evidence.

As well as the Hitler comment, the gaslighting, and the treatment of the community, she is now also guilty of libel against someone in the community and of me and Warwickshire Pride.

Since then, Nuneaton Pride (or the one person behind it who was trouble previously) has lied repeatedly, stated the Hitler comment is false and created for the purposes of bringing Nuneaton Pride down, and gaslighted the community. She also deletes comments that criticise or present the evidence.

A few days ago someone in the community alerted us to the Hitler comment made by Nuneaton Pride. After some consideration Warwickshire Pride out out a statement condemning the comment and distancing itself from Nuneaton Pride, as some people thought we still organise it.

We then had to stop our coffee morning in Nuneaton because one of her supporters attacked a member of our team while the coffee morning was running.

Since then we have ignored this person and let her get on with it. We didn't need the stress.

We then started receiving abuse from other people in Nuneaton who believed what this person was saying.

We eventually decided to withdraw from organising Nuneaton Pride due to the ongoing hate and gaslighting from this person.

She then went out of her way to try to discredit me and Warwickshire Pride by talking to the council and venues to try to get them to not work with us. That included telling numerous lies and gaslighting people. There's a pattern here...

She then organised her own Nuneaton Pride to tske place on the same day as ours. I asked her to move it to avoid a clash. She said no, accused me of bullying, and sent a series of messages making herself out to be some kind of victim. It was bizarre because I'd been as nice as possible.

Ahead of the third Nuneaton Pride I received a message from the current organiser of it to say she is taking over the event as people love her.

I said an event can't just be taken like that. I offered to work together instead. She said no and then sent a series of rude, confrontational messages.

A bit about Nuneaton Pride... I don't know how lengthy this post/thread may be. But I am going to disclose everything that has happened.

A few years ago, I was organising Nuneaton Pride by Warwickshire Pride. We held the event twice. Both were nice community days.

Yeah she's still saying it's false. Does she hope that people will believe her if she says it enough. The hole that is being dug gets deeper.

Apparently it's malicious and false, even when she is replying to the evidential screenshot. 🙄

I've seen a lot in my time but this is something else.
