THREAD: I got laid off from NYMag/Vulture after 14 years. The family lost 75% of income + medical. Now mzs.press bookstore, once a side project. is do-or-die for Judith & I. I feel weird telling you this because others are doing much worse. But if you could like or share this, we'd be so grateful!

Hi Bluesky - I'm Massachusetts' Attorney General. You might know me from suing President Trump nearly 50 times, beating Uber and Lyft in court, or being the first woman of color elected to statewide office in MA.

I officially left X today - help me find my MA people?

Graphic with a fridge front as the background. Colorful letter-shaped magnets spell out "some bills we" and then a heart and a note that says "on the NH House Floor this week." There are four notes taped on the fridge. One reads: HB 1600: Makes registering to vote a little easier by streamlining infro between the DMV and local town clerks." The second is: HB 1705: Gives small towns the ability to offer the state Employee Assistance Program to our local first responders." Another reads: HB1492: Saves people money by protecting drivers from mystery tow fees that they can't afford during an emergency." The last one reads: "HB1718: Changes net metering rules so batteries charged by solar can send power to the grid (and lower energy costs!)." In the lower right hand corner there is a calendar for February 2026 that has all the days up to the 19th crossed off. The 19th is circled in red.

Here's our weekly highlight of a few of the bills we 💙 coming to the NH House floor tomorrow that will lower costs, help first responders, and make registering to vote a little easier for Granite Staters. #NHPolitics

Graphic with a cork billboard. There are three posters pinned to the pinboard. One is yellow with an orange icon of a person lifting a box and text: “lift with your legs not your back! Disclaimer: legally you don’t have to do this.” One is blue with an outline of hands and text that says: “Wash your hands stay healthy. Disclaimer: legally you don’t have to do this.” The third is yellow with an icon of a person slipping inside a triangle and text that says: “Be careful. Don’t slip. Disclaimer: legally you don’t have to do this.”

HB1584 is bad public health policy and bad graphic design. Public health notices should be clear, concise, and factual — adding additional disclaimers only makes the message confusing. #NHPolitics

Remember her name: Aliya Rahman

Her testimony is everything and it deserves to be heard, by everyone. Decide for yourself.

It’s powerful. It’s gut-wrenching. And no one should have to survive what she did.

FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.

According to the new rules, if you and a few friends go to a defense contractor’s testing facility and you say “where are the missiles” and they don’t let you in then all federal funds for defense contractors will be frozen
