Nope. I have a blind friend who has them and uses them to navigate the world around him that was made for people with sight. With the text to speech capabilities, he can read posters, signs, menus, brochures, etc. Get over yourself. Sure it could be abused, but it’s benefits outweigh that IMHO.

A good friend of mine was diagnosed with MS a few years ago, and the way it manifested was 90% blindness. He wears these meta raybans now because with them he can “see” the world around him better. He can read signs, books, brochures, etc. He is not a “perv”. He is just a guy who went blind.
