I have one who disappears sometimes for days but thankfully I have fab neighbours who keep an eye out - he hunts rabbits in their gardens then swans back here for fancy kibble!

It’s lessened finally, quite a relief!
Far enough away from the beach so no swells or flooding, think we got off lightly - but man it was gusty for a while!
I’m about 500 metres from the Haumoana evacuation zone but the wind was so strong it drove rain through our tightly shut louvre windows, so I hope everyone who had to get out of their houses is safe now
