Most organisations can't afford to have principles. But they do have a need to be on the winning side when it wins. Has the NYT changing sides? A good sign if true.

From conversations with friends, it very much depends what's wrong with you. My recent complaints (prostate cancer, atrial flutter) are in their catalogue. They know which conveyor belt to put you on, and you are usually whizzing through the system within 24 hours.
