I played through Octo Expansion, I haven’t finished a run in Side Order. I tend to bounce off roguelikes.
I could play Octo Expansion again, I wanted to finish every level with every available weapon combo.
I forgot I also bought a used Wii U almost primarily just to play the Splatoon 1 campaign.
I beat the solo campaign of Splatoon 2 some 7 times with every single weapon. I’m ready for a new single player Splatoon.

In Super Mario Odyssey, many Goombas can be stacked. The limit for a legitimate Goomba stack is 30, as they will stop spawning afterwards. Manually spawning more Goombas reveals that the limit for an illegitimate Goomba stack is 200. At 201 Goombas, the game crashes.

I found out I’d actually just beaten the easiest route and finished it only by the absolute last slither of health. I can make it through 3 stages or “normal” and can’t even finish the first stage in “hard”.
Technically impressive game, and holds up today… I’ll update if I ever finish Normal route
Couldn’t progress the game because I hadn’t bought the wagon yet… I’m 7 hours in and onto the second continent and I only just recruited a monster into my party.

I ended up beating the second route in Star Wing (Star Fox 93) with one life left. Apparently you can just choose the routes after clearing the first stage? I’ll try out a few more over the next week or so.

This looks unbelievable for early 2000. Too bad you can only see half the res cause Bsky only supports 30FPS video. Like a lot of other first-year PS2 games, RRV renders 640x224 per frame and interlaces at 60FPS
