When authors you truly admire have good things to say about your own writing...it's just the best feeling in this game there is.

Thanks so much to THE @shelbyhinte.bsky.social for this awesome blurb for COUNT THE DUST.

Out in December from @leftoverbooks.bsky.social y'all.

Submissions will open for one full hour, so insofar as you're racing, you're doing so against the clock rather than each other.

BUT. We're HAD, so we gotta mix it up.

Let's make that hour middle of the night! (At least for me here on the east coast. And, really most of us in the US.) Y'all gotta stay up late, or wake up early, or wake up in the middle of the night just to prove to us you love us, or be international (I hope this time works for the international skullers?).

Which is all to say...
Submissions will be Thursday, April 24, 4am – 5am ET.

A few specifics:
No theme
600 words max
Any/all genre ok
For poems and reeeeal short stuff, you can send two, but make 'em short!

You (probably, hopefully) know the deal.I am going to try to get through as many as possible, as fast as possible, but its a timed call rather than quantity so I have no idea how many I'll get, so getting through everything might spill over into the next day or two... or longer? We'll see!
