I wish there was a more decentralized alternative to discord. What currently on the marked that I've seen so far just isn't there yet or i'm struggling to see it being feature complete in the near future.. Really wish there was a solid alternative..

Not me always taking stuff 100 step to far when building things. Ofc my over complicated multi platform chatbot (to be used in just @letterjaye.com chats, maybe mine if I ever stream) needs a data model to be able to better predict timer commands in chat better. Hopefully I'll finish it this time 😅

Idk about other people, however if a recruiter sends me a InMail on LinkedIn. I'm straight up going to ignore it like any other spam email. 😅 When that same recruiter a year later sends me a new InMail with a sassy attitude because I didn't respond to the previous one. I'm just going to block you. 😂

Finally got all the taxes and annual report done for me and Jaye's company for 2024 delivered. Only took me 6 hours this time. Thank god that all this shit is digital here.

I love that I was able to setup automation on my phone so my work eSIM is only on when I’m actually at the office.

Been back to the office full-time for 2 weeks now. Its rough after 5 years of 2 or less days a week and being able to work at 1/3 the speed because everyone bothers you instead of using email or teams to communicate like they should be. ⚰️

I'm glad I got rid of twitter on my phone. I did it with facebook years ago. I probably should have done it sooner. Also deactivated some fb pages, groups and twitter accounts. Not really anything there for me anymore!

Maybe its time for a new area of social media? Now that we see apps like @flashesapp.bsky.social and @skylight.social being built on the AT Protocol as potential replacement for Instagram and TikTok.

Watching all this go down from Europe. Still having access to all the US content on TikTok. I guess they just slapped a «not available» label on it for now. Since the US data is still available for now

I feel like I want something similar to Facebook, but simpler and just for close family to keep more in touch where your data is encrypted and privacy is important. Having my wife's family in the US and we living close to mine in Norway makes it difficult sometimes to keep up with everything!

Yeah, I did notice that as well this past summer when we where in the states visiting family. (We don't have it in Europe I don't think. At least not in Norway). A few times I found it useful to not have to actually leave google search, but most of the time I would still need to go into a result

Do research on the rights/policies that will affect them and that you voted to take away. Don't invalidate their feelings over your believes if you want to understand why they are removing you from their inner circle. Don't expect them to forgive you. Forgiveness is earned.
