Another lost outground ... Clarence Park, Weston Super Mare which hosted a regular week for Somerset between 1914 and 1996. It was held in August to attract holidaymakers and was usually well attended

I know it’s a dank, dark, damp morning at the end of January.
But there are better days ahead. Days of sunshine, quiet contentment and the return of the County Championship. And there are only 72 days to go.
Only 73 days until the start of the County Championship, the return of domestic cricket, days in the garden listening to TMS, watching on the livestreams, pootling along to the local cricket club and day trips to the county grounds.
