Heat pumps for all new homes and plug-in solar in green tech drive Solar panels that can be plugged in at home could be available to buy in supermarkets in the coming months.

From 2028, no new homes will be on the gas network - and will instead be on a heat network or get a heat pump - and they must have solar panels on their roofs covering an area equivalent to 40% of the ground floor space

Ideally yes. But in some new planting areas in #yyj they have incorporated underground connectivity for the trees planted on a boulevard. Those trees are thriving and seem to be a good compromise for giving shade during hot weather for pedestrians.

Disinformation is rising in cities everywhere and it's affecting residents and democracy at all levels of government. It's mainly in social media but also in some opinion pages, and talk radio.

British Columbians want gas out of buildings, cleaner alternatives: poll Polling clearly demonstrates that the higher your knowledge about the causes of climate change, the more likely you are to support climate policies.

‼️New polling shows people in BC:

β€’ worry about climate change (78%)
β€’ want the #BCgov to act more (79%)
β€’ want more oversight of FortisBC to shift away from #naturalgas (61%)

Getting gas out of buildings addresses all this.
