A DOJ press release accused Heather Morrow of assaulting an ICE agent.
When video showed Morrow hadn't attacked anyone and was tackled by an officer, prosecutors dropped the felony charges but promptly filed a misdemeanor case against her.

White House budget director Russ Vought has been key to implementing the Trump agenda. But before joining the administration, he was a central figure in drafting Project 2025, the controversial policy playbook by the Heritage Foundation. https://to.pbs.org/4tSN7cq
RESULT: Analilia Mejia is heading to Congress.
The AP has promptly called the NJ11 election for Mejia, the left-wing advocate who won a tight primary earlier this year and just easily won the general election. Mejia will replace Mikie Sherrill, who of course is now governor.
NEWS: Democrat Analilia Mejia wins NJ-11 special election, defeating Republican Joe Hathaway and further narrowing the GOP’s razor-thin House majority. She fills the seat vacated by Gov. Mikie Sherrill.

When you realize what you actually voted for in ‘24 👋
Side by side map of vote shares by county in Wisconsin, for 2024 presidential election and April 2026 Supreme Court seat election
I know it's risky to read much into state-level elections, but the difference in these two maps is pretty striking. The left shows county-level votes for Trump and Harris in 2024 in Wisconsin. The right shows the results of yesterday's Supreme Court race, where the Democrat won in a landslide.
Let’s go Wisconsin! Congrats Waukesha WI! 💙🎉
Following months of Democratic election victories, last night was especially brutal for Republicans:
- landslide win in Wisconsin’s state Supreme Court race
- massive over-performance in MTG’s old seat
- win in Waukesha’s mayoral race
If Republicans aren’t nervous, they’re not paying attention.
Congratulations on the win @christaylorwi.bsky.social and #Wisconsin !🗽💙⚖️
I’m so happy for Wisconsin!
I am interested to find out if my Catholic MAGA acquaintances are aware of this. Even if they are aware they’re so brainwashed by FoxNews etc they will convince themselves Trump knows best 🙄
🚨Centrist Dems are attacking progressive streamer Hassan Piker. Same members fund & supply Israel’s horrific bombardment of Gaza, Iran & whoever else Israel wants to obliterate. 🤬

On view at the Boston MFA Daniela Edburg American and Mexican, born in 1975 Knit Series: Killing Time, 2010 Photograph, laser print When times are stressful, we often turn to soothing, repetitive activities. Daniela Edburg's Killing Time, is one of a series of visually seductive-yet emotionally unsettling-scenes that examines this impulse. The artist knits and crochets many of the elements seen here (and displayed in the case at left), and places mysterious handmade creations, such as the ominous gray bomb at the woman's feet, into a landscape. In so doing, Edburg causes us to question what is real and what is not. In anxious times, how might we create spaces of calm and safety in a natural setting, such as a garden? Courtyard of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, with the annual nasturtiums on display in all their glory!
Nasturtiums that have been nurtured from seed since June are now hanging in the courtyard of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston, MA. This is an annual event started by Isabella when the museum was her home.
🪻A rainy cold day in #Boston is a great day to visit the MFA & the Gardner Museum! The nasturtiums are in bloom at the Gardner—a highlight of the year! Of all the beautiful works I saw today, this photograph by Daniela Edburg was my favorite. This feels just like me these days! Trying to de-stress!

I have a question for my GOP colleagues: why the hell would you want to come to Congress, hand over all your power to the president, and then betray your constituents and your values? Is it really worth it to avoid Trump’s wrath? I think it’s pathetic.
The DOW is sending Pam Bondi thoughts and prayers today.
Mail-in voting provides vital access to the polls for many voters, like people with disabilities, seniors, and those without reliable access to transportation. President Trump has no basis to interfere with that right, let alone co-opt the U.S. Postal Service to do so.
We'll see you in court.
Major update: White House concerned as Trump’s address ridiculed and falls flat.

Trump says he cannot focus on Medicare or Medicaid because of the war.

Today’s Artemis II launch marks a major step forward in space exploration.
I have had the privilege of spending time with this crew and seeing their discipline and commitment up close. As they begin this mission, I am wishing them a safe journey and a safe return home.
