How it started….how it ended it felt like an epic trail experience and I wish I had taken more photos of when I was in the “clouds”

Today’s flowers comes from experiencing 38 degrees temp but the wind chill made it 8 degrees - not perfect but it was hard. No I didn’t bring my dslr because I was like this going to be one cold trip up the mountain!!!!

I tried to change perspective in these photos of the crested iris. These are the ones I struggle the most in liking.

I like how rich the purple of the crested iris flower is here. I wish I had a different perspective.

I took so many pictures of the crested Iris. I know some are better than the others. It’s a lighter color than the 2nd batch.

I am not going to apologize for not being around lately. Just know that I am taking care of myself and that I do think of you. Not looking at social media and spending time reading and playing pokopia is really helpful right now (mostly)

That trail definitely had some great views. Now I’m plotting about this one hike I want to do that is four hours away and 11 miles long. Do I really want to do it??? Anyways enjoy the photo!

So the daffodils are pretty right? Right? These aren’t the photos from my dslr but I’ll unload them eventually. For now the ones from my camera will do. On a note I told my parents I 1000/10 don’t recommend this trail for them. I’ll do this trail next year 😂

The trail beat me up that when I finally got back to my car I cried. I cried guys. Oh sweet car I appreciate you so much. But hey saw some salamander eggs. Other pictures later I think I might pass out

The view from the trail. Reminds me why blue ridge is called blue ridge. The trail might not have had the perfect photo spot but you were hiking with this view for a good bit.
