Feeling very inspired leaving @compact.org's annual convening and very grateful for the chance to connect with so, so many incredible individuals working at the intersection of higher education and democracy.

I think Americans have to understand things won't go back to normal and no one is coming to save us. The self destructive decision to vote for Trump is going to cause long term pain, damage and weakness. We have to survive and try to rebuild something better. Generational effort sadly.
