I incorporate all kinds of information I've learned from National Park service units into my biology & forensics classrooms. Not just the pure science, but also the cultural importance of places and organisms, like how bison are keystone species of the Badlands & culturally important to the Lakota.

This is of interest to the #STEAMinthePark community and anyone in #TeacherSky or #EduLib who uses NPS/Bureau of Land Management/Department of the Interior resources. Protect the natural and cultural resources of our public lands, please!

I can't believe MCPS already called two-hour delays for the next two days! Seems a bit overkill, but I'll make it work.
