Enfield named as a confirmed location for ‘new towns’ programme – a public consultation is set to launch soon.
It could mean up to 21,000 new homes at Crews Hill & Vicarage Farm (Chase Park).
SDCV will follow this to assess the impact on our communities.

The ASHMOLE PRIMARY SCHOOL CHOIR treated #Southgate to some Christmas joy yesterday (15th December) at ‘Choir Corner’ in the Pocket Park by Nandos.
It was a wonderful festive sound appreciated by passers-by, shoppers, travellers & college students. Thank you to pupils & staff at Ashmole Primary.
It won’t be possible to go into Southgate tube station for a couple of months next year, as one of the station’s two escalators will be out of action, so it will be open for people to leave, but not enter.

Good news Friday: A restored brick sculpture of the world-famous potter Josiah Wedgwood has been unveiled at Etruria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent, two years after it was nearly destroyed by council contractors.
‘Capo’ was created by artist Vincent Woropay (1951–2002) for the 1986 National Garden Festival.
