Moved to a new development. Tried to subscribe to print @pioneerpress.bsky.social. Was told no delivery to my address so I cancelled. 2 days later they say they do deliver. Subscribed again. Not a single paper has been delivered. Cancelled again. Sigh. I just want to read a paper on Sunday morning.

Had dinner at a restaurant in the burbs. Busy night so we sat at the bar. Asked if the bartender could put the #MNTwins on one of the many TVs. We were told "We don't support the Pohlads". Definitely a first.

A copper watering can with brass spout and handle sitting on a gas cooktop grate. The spout and handle have obvious solder/weld marks.
Took at least 60 years of grunge off my Granny's watering can today. Kicking myself for not taking a before pic. No idea how old it is. I don't remember her without it in the kitchen. My grandfather must have repaired it more than once based on the welds/solder marks.
My prescription for years had been single correction optimized for the laptop. Once I needed better distance vision it was progressive time. I ponied up for the extra field of vision option which probably helped. I still look under or take them off for close up since I can get closer than w/glasses
I got so many "be careful on the stairs" remarks and comments on how long it would take to adjust, but I also adjusted quickly. I'm extremely near sighted though and still don't need much adjustment up close so maybe that helped.

I was the HOA president in my former townhouse. We'd never had a special assessment in the almost 30 years since they were built and we managed it to stay that way. Not always easy to get convince people a fee increase was necessary, but reminding them they'd never been assessed usually helped.

Both had a bit of pepper heat to them. Hunter sauce was like a sweet chili. I thought the Demon sauce might be horseradish, but ingredients read mustard, so a purple hot mustard.

Tried the adult Happy Meal since we adore the movie. A bit gimmicky. I wouldn't order it again, but had a little fun with it. The fry seasoning tasted like a chicken ramen noodle packet. I liked the Demon Sauce and you can get it with any nugget order. #KPopDemonHunters
Rewatched Everwood not long ago. It was as good as I remembered.
My husband has solved a couple of tech challenges with it. It's not completely useless, I guess.
Regrettably, I never caught a game there. I did freeze at a game at the "new" stadium. Remarkable how cold it gets in the wind and darkness.

College was in Missouri so it stradled the line. You could take the interstate either direction from campus and get to a WH, yet we only had a Dennys in town. And a Steak & Shake, but it wasn't 24 hours.
