Gavrill's name was originally gonna be Gary, short for Gabriel, because naming this seasoned, badass mercenary "Gary" is hilariously bad. Luckily he became Russian so he got the Russian equivalent of Gabriel instead, which sounds cooler and has a much nicer nickname of Gav or Gavy 😂

Sparrow Flight is a character drama that's a blend of tragedy and slice-of-life wholesomeness! There's a lot of hurt/comfort because of that. There are moments of action and historical war/romance from the overarching mystery that ties these comics and short stories together, too.

Ahh I didn't know that! That's similar to the sona I have in my head. Him being a chimera reflects the different genres and tones of the stuff I makeh.
