OPINION: "The flawed American Experiment in democracy, and maybe the world as we know it, cannot survive if the mentally and physically deteriorating Trump is allowed to serve out the final 1,017 days of his term." — Inquirer columnist Will Bunch

This column gives no indication either way; ol’ Tom has had a few missteps and misunderstandings over the years. (“Suck on this” for example.)
Happy men's Frozen Four to all who celebrate.
One of the biggest lies that media keeps repeating from right-wing commentators & politicians is “people don’t want to work anymore”. Actually, people *love* to work hard — if the work is meaningful and workers are respected. It’s a management skill issue. anildash.com/2026/04/06/p...
Agreed - OT here definitely needs engagement, esp industrial control systems. In news and comms more broadly, though, IT is OT, in that content management systems are critical infrastructure to publishers of all kinds and historically pretty rickety. Having support from a trusted third-party is key.
I had the same thought. Why not Kroll, or Rapid7, or any major security firm that could use this knowledge to help their far-smaller-than-Amazon clients?
I find it hard to interpret “a whole civilization will die tonight” to mean “we’re going to knock out your power and desalination plants”, but that’s just my opinion
Important context the Post left out: sanctuary cities in the US include SFO, LAX, JFK, BOS, and ORD. JFK and LAX are the 1 and 2 busiest US airports in terms of international traffic, and ORD is consistently in the top five busiest in the world. nypost.com/2026/04/06/u...

I hadn’t seen the “cheating god” slur before, and… really? Do you really want to talk about the switch from “no meat during Lent” to “right, sorry, how about just Fridays then”?
I love that for the longest time, Outlook’s HTML rendering engine was based on Word, not Internet Explorer.
This is beautiful
A set of screenshots from DEEP SPACE NINE. An old Klingon throws his arms around Dax and shouts "Curzon, my beloved old friend!" Dax returns the hug and says "I'm Jadzia now." The Klingon grabs her shoulders, smiles, and says "Jadzia, my beloved old friend!"
Star Trek figured this out thirty years ago. It's not hard. Even an old, drunk Klingon got it.
Having more teams to root for is fun, not to mention the Montreal uniform might be the coolest in professional sports
What if condo has yard? Family?
At least one of those was lucky to be there anyway imo

These are the paths that ICE detainees from the Philly-area traveled over an 18-month period. They are moved around a vast and growing network.

THIS. I don’t want 10M, I want the extra ball I worked for
League playoffs are starting this weekend, yeah!
There’s a bunch of college hockey on the espn app too, if you have overlapping intermissions
This is a smart encapsulation of two schools of thought.
🧑🍳 We recently gathered chefs, restaurateurs, and their staff (a.k.a. the people who feed this city and fuel its soul) to celebrate The 76 — our list of the restaurants defining how Philly is eating right now.
🥘 This is the video we shared with the room:
This sounds almost exactly like the description of learning to fly in The Hitchhiker’s Guide, including losing it once you realize what you’ve done
Being old is regularly: ah i have stumbled across this quirky new song from what must be a niche little band waiting to be discovered which [checks] came out 8 years ago and has been streamed 47 million times
I still fight with Outlook for basic compatibility tbh
