She was very nervous as I am the first house on the street. She seemed to be canvassing for a DNC aligned group. I was very nice. But I told her we were very interested in seeing our democratic rep lose in the primary.

Just gave the nice older lady who was canvassing a bit of an earful. We are in a district where our democratic rep was quite enthusiastic about the war and I suggested to her that I was not going to support him.

The single best thing to happen to college hoops in the past few years is rule changes that more or less eliminated the charge. So glad that nonsense is gone and they are back playing normal basketball.

I am very lapsed, but my recollection is that it’s the only day without a mass. However there will be other activities at most churches on this day (stations of the cross, rosary, reading the passion, etc) so if you go to one or more of these you end up spending a lot of time at church

The day you realize that you are too old and now suck and can’t hoop is a sad day.
