Experimenting with a GPU-based newtonian gravity simulation. The white circles are planets with simulated gravity, and the particles are colored based on velocity. Emergent behavior is beautiful.

Working on a little falling sand simulation that runs on the GPU using a compute shader! It's coming along nicely, this is a 1280x720 simulation running at ~600fps

Got shadows working with the toon shader in reptilian! I also took the opportunity to add some distance fog, which I'm not yet sure about. What do you all think?

Reptilian on Steam Reptilian is a short, cozy, open world adventure game, set in a desert oasis resort populated entirely by reptiles! Play as a lizard as you walk, climb, and swim around this charming little world.

Just uploaded the Steam page for my next commercial game project! If it looks interesting to you, please go wishlist it! #gamedev #indiedev #WishlistWednesday

I've actually implemented a feature that automatically realigns your controls with the view directions, so it feels quite natural to climb downwards! I've tried the camera system where its always at your back, but it felt weird, more like mario galaxy gravity fields and less like scaling up a wall

Thoughts? I'm trying to figure out if I like the smooth shading look better than the hard shading.
