In looking at the morning scenarios, it certainly looked plausible that the greatest tornado potential Tuesday would extend farther to the north. Fine tuning to be done over the next 24 hours. In addition to a tornado threat, there is also the threat of significant hail as shown in the image below.

It may not be spring officially, but in my world spring started yesterday, March 1.
And with the welcome pattern change comes a severe weather threat in the southern Plains.
Multiple triggers, along with adequate ingredients spell severe potential for multiple days starting on Wednesday.

My review at 10pm suggested to me that I keep an eye on the area shown on the 1st image. Since I was still awake at midnight, actually went to bed...woke up because I drank too much tea, the SPC expanded the slight risk area to the west. Yeah, it is not my first rodeo. YouTube stream ~1pm Friday.

Very isolated strong, possibly briefly severe, storms may develop in the warm sector well ahead of a frontal boundary this afternoon. Other development expected along an approaching cold front. Wait and see if it develops, and if so, the broadcast will begin.
