Leicester City are the second club to be relegated to the third tier of English football after winning the Premier League title.
Blackburn Rovers were the first.
I can nearly appreciate why Maresca had to go but appointing a relatively unproven manager on a long contract is just mental when, as you say, a constant stream of high revenue is fundamental to make the business work
They’ve also had a horrendous run of fixtures. Yes, they’re playing badly now but I think it would’ve been perfectly reasonable to predict they’d lose as many games as they have recently

I can't believe replacing Enzo Maresca with Liam Rosenior hasn't worked out for Chelsea.
I think we can still enjoy being many points ahead of them, and still qualifying for the CL when they won't, even if we don't win a trophy
Chris Sutton sounds absolutely disgusted with Chelsea here.
I reckon he stuck a tenner on them to win and is now regretting it.
Fabian Hürzeler v Liam Rosenior.
What an underwhelming hate watch.

Good evening from the Benyon dialysis ward at the Royal Berkshire Hospital
We have, however, scored 23 goals in the last 11 PL games which is the same ratio that top scorers Man City have scored all season.
It’s a genuine miracle that Arsenal are top of the Premier League
Ffs, the BBC has finally run out of money to send David Attenborough to Africa
Ultimately, this result won’t be why Arsenal don’t win the league (if we don’t win it). This has been bubbling away for some time with Liverpool, Forest, United, Wolves + Bournemouth results far more costly.
Just have to keep going and win our games. It feels shit today though.
Arsenal haven’t lost the Premier League title today, but Manchester City are certainly favourites now.
If Manchester City do go on to win it, it’ll be because of Arsenal’s draws at Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Wolves.
My kingdom for a decent striker at Arsenal
They simply don’t believe they deserve to be contenders
