Discord actually just has a feature where you can directly interact with a bot/app regardless if they are actually on a server/group/DM.

There are multiple layers of misunderstanding:
1. You can ban every user/bot/app in existence on a server regardless if they have ever been in the server at all.
2. Banning an app/bot won't prevent members from using the app/bot.
3. Apps/bots cannot join a server by themselves.
