They are so weak and paranoid about the media narrative (Sky and Talk Sport in the main) of favouritism towards United. When officials make mistakes they pushback and refuse to acknowledge them When they have a chance to “punish” us they over index.

Snitch
As for the Lacroix incident. Next game Palace get a penalty against Spurs and VdV sent off of an identical offence. I don’t recall any outcry about that? Different stat? Same ABU journos with chips on their shoulders.
BBC would disagree
Cantona also missed 3 league games in 94/95 after being sent off in preseason (against Rangers). Again, anyone know of a that happening to another team? No? Just United three times then.
Is that a precedent set? One game ban for every player who swears at an official? I look forward to a game week where all 520 PL players are serving a ban.
FA and PL continue to use United as an example to show they aren’t scared of punishing the big clubs. It’s not proportional or fair in any way.
Brain dead from Dalot. Keep the ball in play, keep the pressure on
That is utter nonsense. He’s looking the other way and let’s go instantly
To me it’s clear. VAR didn’t overturn Atwell’s mistake on the Amad penalty, because it would have meant disallowing Bournemouth’s goal and awarding United a
Penalty. Either bottled it, or thought of the two scenarios. Justifying not giving United a penalty was an easier sell.
It’s either incompetence or corruption. The state of officiating in a multi-million competition is not fit for purpose and needs a full independent review.
This is where United Managers have been too passive for years. Carrick needs to tear Atwell a new one tonight. Make refs scared of officiating us again.
Drilling for more North Sea oil will make zero difference to the cost of petrol in the uk. Why do #r4today guests and presenters persist with this nonsense?
The same nonsense was spouted unchallenged on GMB this morning. It is just poor journalism. Moreover, it is misleading and reckless.
Pathetic display. Lackadaisical, pedestrian and careless. Too many loose passes, silly fouls and aimless speculative long balls. The lack of energy via deeply worrying.
Sky can’t help themselves… Sky Sports App pop-up. “United beat Palace after Red Card controversy”… seconds later on Sky Sports..
Pundit “it was a penalty and a red card”…
Why does it always feel like teams who have reputations for being “physical” are treated with more leniency from the officials?
do love how the Winter Olympic sports that GB team are good at are either the properly mental ones (sliding down a Bobsleigh run on a tea tray) or the just odd ones (sliding big stones down some ice and sweeping).
A very good evening to whoever organised this billboard outside of Old Trafford.
That sadly reminded of me every post SAF match against Wolves. Dragged into a game of anti-football by Nuno.
How is that not a clear push in the back? This ref is an utter moron
I’ve lost count of how many spawny ricochets had gone West Ham’s way
My god Simon Hooper is a brain numbingly poor ref.
100% agree with the your Carrick views. I was a ST holder during his tenure and thought he was highly underrated. His reading of the game and positioning was second to none. Used the intelligently and kept the midfield ticking over. Suffered to get recognition because he wasn’t Roy Keane.
Both bookings follow the ref missing an infringement from Citeh.
He had a TV show called Jim’ll Fix it.
It’s a reference to Jimmy Saville
The Club is stuck in limbo. Being run by a minority shareholder, who can’t put money into the club without strengthening the Glazers position. It’s a mess. Glazers need to sell up (to Ineos or someone else) to let the club have one owner who can invest where needed.
Yet another ref thinking we are all watching to see him. Twat.
Whoever the next Manager is. They need to start pulling refs up for this shite. Absolutely hammer them.
