I'm trying to think of something new and notable he spearheaded during those 15 years and I'm drawing a blank.
Heard a couple of old guys drinking coffee this morning talking about this and wondered what brought it to the fore. Huh.
It's sort of weird how sanguine wall st is thinking that contagion in Asia and later Europe won't affect us here. There are countries today who are closing schools and businesses for days due to lack of energy supplies.

Photo of a man in an IDF uniform smashing a statue of Jesus Christ in the head with a sledgehammer @ytirawi watermark
Israel Defense Forces @IDF X.com Following the completion of an initial examination regarding a photograph published earlier today of an IDF soldier harming a Christian symbol, it was determined that the photograph depicts an IDF soldier operating in southern Lebanon. The IDF views the incident with great severity and emphasizes that the soldier's conduct is wholly inconsistent with the values expected of its troops. The incident is being investigated by the Northern Command and is currently being addressed through the chain of command. Appropriate measures will be taken against those involved in accordance with the findings.
Furthermore, the IDF is working to assist the community in restoring the statue to its place. The IDF is operating to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure established by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, and has no intention of harming civilian infrastructure, including religious buildings or religious symbols. • LTC Nadav Shoshani * & @LT...•7h The IDF is currently examining the reliability of the photograph. If this is indeed a real, recent picture, these actions do not align with the IDF's values and the behavior expected of IDF soldiers.

A reminder that Trump is a dementia patient and that most of the media covered it up during the 2024 election.
More Americans said their personal financial situation is worse today than it was a year ago (40%) and fewer said their economic situation is better (19%) than in any previous Decision Desk poll during Trump’s second term.

What if people don't use gdp as a yardstick for consumer sentiment since they associate gdp with manufacturing and new factories and instead its just people going out to eat more now, or taking another vacation
BREAKING: Just 20 minutes before Trump's announcement that the Strait of Hormuz was open, massive trades hit the market.
Investors sold a combined 7,990 lots of Brent crude futures, a $760 million bet that oil would go down.
These orders were much larger than anything else at the time.
Unusual.
We don't hear the American right talking about milei anymore. Wonder why. Oh.

Because the people placing $700 million bets on oil right before a tweet will sell and make money on said bet and not actually take delivery of physical oil. It's just rich people moving money around on a ledger.

4 of the last 28 drafts had only 1 QB taken in 1st round. Here are those drafts with 1st round QB and the best QB from those drafts:
2022: Kenny Pickett 1st, Brock Purdy best
2013: EJ Manuel, Geno Smith
2001: Michael Vick, Drew Brees
2000: Chad Pennington, Tom Brady
Hahahaha
You could argue that those three also have some of the most visible prices, outside of gas. Food shelves in groceries. Fast food displays. Car tv and radio ads. Etc.
