You’re totally right - but regardless of the skewed method of selection, the argument “the president was elected so he should do whatever he thinks is best” is no more valid than saying “the senate was elected, they should do whatever they think is best”

Americans also voted for the Senators who are responsible for judging and confirming the nominees -and they should do their jobs!

Attended a Veterans Day event on the Mall today.
