🎥 Watch today’s highlight video and relive the key moments from Day 3!
Day 3 #EACS2025 - Romain Palich is talking about post-migration #HIV acquisition in #migrants receiving HIV care in #Europe. Evidence suggests that at least 50% of migrants living with HIV acquired the virus after arriving in their new country of residence.
Davide Moschese presenting preliminary data from a multicenter prospective observational study in Italy. CAB-LA #PrEP implementation proved feasible and well accepted with excellent adherence and retention, and no #HIV breakthrough infections during follow-up.

Day 3 #EACS2025 - Maria Luisa Cosmaro presenting an online program for the delivery of remote #PrEP services (“TelePrEP”) which successfully filled service gaps and enabled early detection of #STIs.
Day 3 #EACS2025 - Fiona Burns about #HIV #testing, #PEP and partner notification. Multi-modal methods of access are critical, PEP access should be a #PrEP entry point, and partner notification must be safe and rights-based.
Day 3 #EACS2025 - Jeanne Sibiude presenting data on #HIV, #hepatitis and #syphilis prevention of vertical transmission. Beyond EMTCT that is almost there and must remain the objective, working towards global improvement of women’s health and vulnerable populations in general is essential.
Day 3 #EACS2025- “Five years left”! Teymur Noori is talking about the #SDGs targets for #HIV that are in reach in #Europe, which we will struggle to make. While many of the targets are not in reach yet, several countries in all three sub-regions are making great strides in many of the target areas.
