Thanks! I've been hanging onto the domain for a while. Maybe we'll pay for those renewals :D

This product was born from my day job working with customers and often needing them to send me database exports, backups and file customization. Every solution I could find was cumbersome and overbuilt for the purpose, required accounts to be created on both ends or it had upload limitations.
Launching my first independent paid product: dropitto.us - dropittous lets you create unique drop links for your clients. They drop files, you receive them. No accounts needed. Unlimited file size and storage on paid plans.
I've been working on an AI composer for HelpSpot. This addition makes replying to customers feel a lot like chatting with ChatGTP or Gemini. The system knows what you're working on and will help you continue the conversation. www.helpspot.com/platform/ai-...
Getting ready to roll out my first independent saas. It has zero AI features, but has been built heavily with AI assistance. Still bullish that LLMs will mainly affect a few industries instead of the whole world. #laravel #bootstrap

Dutch late night TV has its take
Just canceled Disney plus. What direct action can we take to send a message to ABC, Sinclair/Nexstar? I don't subscribe to cable and don't watch TV.
Just a tiny leap from âbroadcasters have to use their spectrum in Trumpâs interestsâ to âAT&T and Verizon have to manage content on their wireless networks in Trumpâs interests because they operate on public spectrumâ
Why is the fabrication of evidence by the federal government not a headlining story? This text message thread is the fakest thing I've seen. The only thing I can think is that the media has been effectively chilled. The government is not a trusted source. Do your job journalists.
FCC Chair Carrâs post from 12/30/23: Free speech is the counterweightâit is the check on government control. That is why censorship is the authoritarianâs dream.
đ
Disney and ABC have pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! off air âindefinitelyâ after FCC chairman Brendan Carr threatened to pull the broadcast licenses of any station that aired his show over comments Kimmel made about the man charged with killing Charlie Kirk. The decision, according to Variety, was made after television giant Nexstar announced that its local ABC affiliates would pre-empt airings of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, just hours after Carr issued that threat. Nexstar is one of the biggest owners of television stations across the country. Weâve reached out to the FCC for comment on what specifically is objectionable from Kimmelâs show and which FCC regulations he may have violated.
Btw very important to say that the FCC has not at all said what Kimmel said that was so objectionable! This is classic chilling effect - there are no rules so everyone stops talking

It's pretty dang good. Should solve the icons hidden behind the notch issue.
All the mountains are snow kissed for the first time this fall. It's coming ...âď¸âˇď¸âď¸
man they really didn't give a shit about that guy. as soon as it was clear they couldn't use his death to launch a purge they started to treat it like a nothingburger
Don't just read the headline. Take a moment to watch the video. It's short.
<?php enum Status: int { case Pending = 1; case Started = 2; case Complete = 4; case Error = 8; } array_column(Status::cases(), 'value'); // Result: [1, 2, 4, 8]
TIL about `array_column` in PHP đ¤Š
And it can work on objects, too, so here's simple way to get all the values from a backed enumâŚ
(It's also about 2x faster than `array_map` in my testing.)
I knew you were a man of character.
If anyone wonders why designing email software is hard. I scored 14/21 on e-mail.wtf and all I got was this lousy text to share on social media.
Some light push back. We've had "I don't know, pasted it from stack overflow" for a long time. Or, "I don't know, pasted it from the docs."
The most important part is the sentence that comes afterwards. "Dunno, AI did it for me. But, give me a sec and I'll figure it out."
It's a new feature in Claude code. Just started using it last week.
I've been building custom ones for the uniqueness of our apps. The build in slash command to make them works pretty good.
It was great to hang out!
Laracon was such a blast. If you end up building a cool custom relation after watching my talk, Iâd love to hear about it!
Livewire 4 not Flux 4. đ¤Śââď¸
Of course with people running up and down the line "try clear to get through faster". Security theater designed to line the pockets of corporations.
Literally the longest security line I have ever seen at Denver airport this morning.
Flux 4 for laravel looks awesome. There are so many speed improvements and so many syntax niceties. @calebporzio.bsky.social and @joshhanley.au are killing it. Real world solutions to real world problems.
@tjmiller.bsky.social had a great talk on the latest in prism for laravel. it's really been fleshed out into a nice complete set of tools for integrating ai into your app.
