To have a sense of humour is to be human. Even in hard times, people use humour as a coping mechanism. I can't connect with stories that are void of humour.

Me and my book present as metal and bogan (which they totally are) but I'm also queer (ace) and neurodivergent (autistic).

Genre Eligibility Genre Requirements & Romance: your central plot needs to be Fantasy or SciFi or a genre mashup which includes Fantasy and or SciFi. Books where the central plot is a romance (and the SciFi/ Fantasy elements are mere backdrop to it are, alas not a good fit for this blog. Books with romantic subplots are ok, so long as there's a Fantasy/ SciFi or subgenre of either main plot. Eg. Ready Player One, SciFi with a romance arc where both LI's are also saving the (future) world from a SciFi villain would be fine. Rep Eligibility Minimum Rep Requirement: Queer inclusive and normative Fantasy and SciFi. (Meaning at the very least you have queer side characters.
