Here in the US, especially in the midwest, Mike Walden was an THE influence of training until Eddy B arrived from Poland. A big part of Mike's beliefs were that speedskating and bike racing, especially on the track, were perfect soulmates.

after shepherding my son through juniors and into a collegiate career, the work done by parents to get to this point is deep.
