It boils down to an argument from ignorance.
What homophobic language?
I heard no homophobic language in that ad.
Maybe you *thought* you heard it, but that was your own imagination.
Somebody should do an experiment where they upholster a couch in crocheted sisal rope, and make a scratching post out of foam padded upholstery fabric, and see if the cat still prefers the couch over the post.
It's not about him being gay. That's the whole point.
The ad starts out feeling like just another lame culture war attack ad, then pivots to the real reason why Lindsay Graham is unfit for a leadership position: he's a vicious, sadistic warmonger cheerleading for genocide.
Nothing stopping a fascist wolf from donning a fleece, saying he's had a change of heart, and run as a Democrat.
Here in Illinois, Raja Krishnamoorthi claimed to be a progressive, then called for ICE to be "reformed" and "held accountable," and supported continued US involvement in Gaza.
He also lied about having participated in the Fallujah Massacre and bragged that he'd enlisted so he could "have adventures" and "kill people."
This guy's a psycho.
Sounds like you got a choice between two nazis.
Good luck with that.
Imagine being a laborer and fancying yourself a capitalist.
@bft.wtf
Loomer is racist, idiotic trash.
@theaifix.show have you guys seen this new trend on YouTube, of marketing hours-long sessions of boring, droning AI slop in the guise of "educational videos" intended to put you to sleep?
We're in the same camp.
A friend of mine used to say, "never punch left," and for the most part I agree.
But I also feel we must be on guard against so-called leftists who promote severely misguided ideals and strategies that can only harm the movement.
I could get into specifics.
It's because the Republicans are bought and owned by white supremacists.
There are several theories that try to unpack why it is, that the rich and powerful (and by extension, the parties they support) often tend to politically align with white supremacism.
I don't believe the MAGAs really do love America.
They're like an abusive partner obsessing over a twisted, idealistic delusion instead of the actual person.
If they really loved America they'd appreciate it for what it is, instead of their bizarre fantasies about what they believe it should be.
Liberals know which side butters their bread, so they avoid sticking their necks out at all costs; even if that means throwing vulnerable people under the bus.
All their principles become disposable if they might conflict with the moneyed interests. This is why they historically side with fascists.
