My coworker, who's been wanting to upgrade for a while, said he could use the 3060, so I just gave him my 4060 for his 2070 Super, my Ryzen 9 for his R7, and gave 32 of that PC's 64GB RAM to bring him up to 48.
All because fuck that other guy. Also gave a spare condenser mic and Sennheiser 598CS.
Knowing that the same guy will apparently be getting a 4090 some time soon, I said "how about for the $100 you got to keep, you just GIVE me the 3060?"
He didn't like that.
My main PC has a 4070ti and my spare had a 4060 anyways. I just don't want anyone to buy a run-to-shit 3060 for $200-$300.
The AI-brained guy offered me $100 a couple nights ago to swap his 3060 for a 3080 he'd been given, then my counter offer was to let him do it himself with instructions I gave and keep the $100.
Then after he was done, he offered to sell me the 3060 "on the cheap".
