Don't let anyone talk you out of spending $15 on a new hobby. That $50 will be the best $400 you ever spent.

Pretty sure management will be on site as well. It’s in the new outdoor space so their absence would be unusual.

I’m scheduled to work downtown Wednesday - Friday and I’m dreading every second.

Acronyms are pronounced as words.
-scuba
-laser
-NASA

Initialisms are pronounced as individual letters.
-NFL
-TSA
-TGIF

'Acronym' is frequently used for both kinds of abbreviations, so it's ok to call an initialism an acronym.

There is some benefit to being part year empty nesters. The dog woke me at 7, I could have slept longer.

The dog should know better…

In all honesty I woke L this morning, she never sleeps past 7-7:15. I went up to check on her at 8:30 and woke her. The dog made sure she was awake by jumping on the bed and licking her face.

Genuinely one of the coolest things I've ever seen a cultural venue post

I had to stop and think about that one for a second, before I nodded my head in agreement.

What a cutie! When our newest cat was first let out of adjustment isolation, he’d growl at and attack the top of the Churu as he ate it.

Ended up taking a sick day from work - either allergies or a random virus. It’s been restorative and low key and totally non-productive, but that’s kind of the point. And, it’s OK.

Still feels weird, though.

Robert E. Lee got his ass beat at Gettysburg by a professor of rhetoric and oratory from Bowdoin College and generations of reactionary fantasists have died mad about it.

Thank you. I’m sure my wife ordered while at the Philadelphia Flower Show and had them shipped. So who knows who they actually came from.

Clump of pink hellebore flowers. Enter of the flowers is yellowish getting darker pink towards the edges of the flower petals.

The first two, white flowers are online orders, most likely Philadelphia area growers. My wife is trying to remember where she ordered from. The pink came from TJ’s.

Cavacini is the nursery in Lawrenceville. My wife recommends checking Best Feeds. She said Trader Joe’s had some standard issue ones. She’s also had good luck ordering online for fancier ones.

The 20yo’s spring break ends today so we’re driving her back at some point. Not awful, just what it is. Taking a camera along just in case I see anything of interest along the way.

Not feeling the “gotta go to work” vibe today. But I do have to, soon.
