There is some benefit to being part year empty nesters. The dog woke me at 7, I could have slept longer.

In all honesty I woke L this morning, she never sleeps past 7-7:15. I went up to check on her at 8:30 and woke her. The dog made sure she was awake by jumping on the bed and licking her face.

Thank you. I’m sure my wife ordered while at the Philadelphia Flower Show and had them shipped. So who knows who they actually came from.

Hellebore flower with white, purple edged outer petals. Frillier inner petals are also white with purple edges. Behind the flower is green foliage and some brown leaves on the ground.

White hellebore flower. Inner frilly petals have a greenish tinge. There is a pale green stem in the lower right.

Clump of pink hellebore flowers. Enter of the flowers is yellowish getting darker pink towards the edges of the flower petals.

The first two, white flowers are online orders, most likely Philadelphia area growers. My wife is trying to remember where she ordered from. The pink came from TJ’s.

Cavacini is the nursery in Lawrenceville. My wife recommends checking Best Feeds. She said Trader Joe’s had some standard issue ones. She’s also had good luck ordering online for fancier ones.

The 20yo’s spring break ends today so we’re driving her back at some point. Not awful, just what it is. Taking a camera along just in case I see anything of interest along the way.
