Heightened awareness of dangers of missing suicides. I was just typed into google, to find who wrote these lyrics "too tired of living, too scared of dying", and I got a suicide prevention hot line 800 number. The song was "Old Man River".

This study looks really important. Interviews, used here, are better than medical record studies. Prev. of LC seems to be up a bit, from 7.8% (39.6% * 19.7%) in 2022 to 8.3% (60.4%*13.7%). Over those two years we are seeing a few more recovering (51.2% to 59.7%) but 40% have not yet recovered.

Even if that's true, you have tangible evidence of a cover-up. This can still be big and force the redactions to all be re-done by an "independent" 3rd party, if there is such a thing.

Wouldn't it be fun if the lower level people who actually did the redactions actually knew they were doing it wrong for the right reasons? I hope they have plausible deniability like the people at the top always do.
