I went through a few years of that. It took a while to pull out of it. Somethings that helped me were actively taking moments, even just a few minutes, to sit outside and just listen and feel the breeze, undistracted by devices, focused on breathing. Just learning to be present in those moments.

New miniature just finished today. This was a Reapers Mini model. I tried to go with a galaxy theme. The paint job proved difficult for a first attempt at a galaxy paint job. Hoping to do better in the future as my skills grow.

Tapping back into some of the minis I painted last year to share on here. This was a swamp troll I worked on. I am debating on going back in and adding a few details. I am in the process of working on a dragon but my vision has been struggling a bit with my cataract.

Here we have in it's natural habitat, the cowl. Not to be confused with a hooded cloak by the same name, the cowl is a wonderous owl that has fur instead of feathers and a remarkable ability to mimic the sounds of a feline. Truly amazing.

I adopted a life coach. Midna is clear on her boundaries. If she wants attention and I take too long to give it she smacks me to say I wasted that moment. She has taught me not to squander little moments, how to set and hold boundaries, and how to take breaks by demanding I do so.

Such a beautiful baby! Our cat Billy Boy will be turning 16 this year.

As soon as I learned what JK was doing and saying it soured my feelings about HP. It made my stomach churn to look at my books and I got rid of them. I understand the idea of separating art from the artist, but not when the artist is using their money to make others suffer. That's toxic.

I was watching this carpenter bee near the wisteria today, reflecting on the cycles of life. Nature is beautiful, even terrifying at times. So is being human.

Had a heavy experience this morning. Despite that I was able to balance it by simply sitting in nature and absorbing that moment of calm. Society urges us forward too fast. Remember to take moments to slow down. They do more than you think if you take time to truly sit with them.

I'd like to introduce you to his royal radiance, my kitten son, Eclipse. He has the citrus of radiance after his neuter yesterday.

Reasons I stopped streaming were that I was fighting the medical system all year for a surgery I needed. Then, my black cat Loki got out due to an error by a housemate before my surgery and things spiraled from there. I've been spaces requiring a lot of growth and resilience. Loki is still missing.

Hey,I know I haven't been streaming. I have genuinely meant to but life has not allowed it. I have made scheduling changes. Streams will likely be more in the evenings from now on around 5pm est except for weekends which will be a hit or miss depending on DnD,

Happy Monday. I will be starting streaming up again this week. I am currently looking at my normal stream schedule and determining some possible time changes as current times may conflict with some irl changes. There should be a stream today, but it might not be at the usual 1:30 est time slot.
