But also I just eat when I’m hungry. My meal times are all over the place because my work schedule is very weird.
Literally eating my second breakfast (which is sometimes first lunch depending on what I feel like eating) right now lol. My Tuesday schedule is very weird. I eat first breakfast at 7:00, I have a break 9-11, so I have to eat again around 10 because I don’t get to eat my actual “lunch” until 2:00.
Not at all
I still have the same tube of cork grease that I’ve had since high school 😂
Yeah there were definitely lots of strobe lights in my production. At first it was super intense and right in our eyes 😵💫🫣 but they moved the lights a little and made them less bright and strobe-y.
Welp spoke too soon. I was up taking her out to have liquid poops at 3:30 and 5:30 am 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫 she’s had meds again twice this morning and her last poop was at 10:30. Please god let that be the last time because I have tech week and I cannot deal with dog diarrhea anymore 😩 sorry for the 💩 posts.
I didn’t get a chance to see them this year 😭😭😭😭😭
And of course Sondheim!! I have a running tally of Sondheim musicals I’ve played because I’m determined to play them all! Which will probably never happen but I can still hope. I did play Sondheim on Sondheim which I think has music from every show he wrote so I guess that counts.
West Side Story. No question.
*happy lol not happen
There are def places and people I prefer to play with. Jekyll & Hyde was a great experience for a lot of reasons (and I get to do it again!!) and I really like the music but it’s not my fave. Disney musicals are always really fun to play bc Menken is the GOAT.
If you want the Reed 1 part for some reason I’ll be happen to email it to you lol. Hands down the hardest musical I’ve ever played so far. But it was like my #1 bucket list show to play so I was just so happy to do it I didn’t care how much it kicked my butt!
Oh it was in the 80s here like 2 days ago lol
Hard to say which musical I had the most fun playing or best experience, but that really depends on who’s in the pit and who’s the MD. And largely the theatre itself.
IMO it’s a tie between West Side Story and Les Miserables because those are my two faves.
I had to turn it back on last night 🥶
I heard it snowed today in DG but I was in rehearsal in bensenville so I don’t know. It was like 45-ish at home I think.
Damn that looks good 🤤
I think of it as a personal challenge.
Well now it’s cold again 🤪
Luckily after last night’s poopageddon Molly has stopped having explosive diarrhea. So at least I’ve got one thing getting better. Mary Poppins is going to be a blast, I just need to practice 😅
Well life goes on. After playing Little Mermaid Friday and Saturday I had sitzprobe for Mary Poppins this afternoon. Totally forgot to take a sitz pic though. That music is no joke! There’s hard stuff in there. I have a sub for Friday night and Saturday matinee because of my FIL’s wake and funeral.
Came home after a performance to find that my elderly dog had diarrhea everywhere that I had to clean up at midnight so I would kindly like the universe to GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK
Molly is doing a lot better thank god! At least one thing is improving.
My dad has Parkinson’s. He’s been in a wheelchair for a long time and had a lot of health issues. He’s been between the hospital and a rehab facility for about a month. My mom was diagnosed at the same time. My FIL has been in and out of the hospital since about September.
Please send cute pet pics
Nothing right now. I’ll let you know.
It’s been a rough couple of days, friends. My father-in-law passed away suddenly on Thursday night, right after learning that my dad was in the ICU (he’s been moved to a regular room this morning) and my mom is having a double mastectomy in 2 weeks because she has breast cancer. It’s been a lot.
Me too! I’m going to miss the 2nd and 3rd because they’re the same time as J&H 😢
