Thanks a mill Olly🙌
Thanks Bill! The pints are spot on, those two poured by myself 😂
MPB are a business and need to make money, I totally understand that. I got a quote for an excellent Q2 and they're offering €2200. They then sell Excellent Q2's for €3559, a profit (minus small costs) of €1359. That is an absolute piss take and they are absolute crooks.
I bring my cameras to work every single day, you don't know what new people you will meet, or what regular you haven't photographed before. Documenting my pub is one of the most important things I've ever done and something that makes me proud. #documentaryphotography
You are definitely not, I absolutely love seeing a post from you appear as it's always super interesting, I joined substack just to follow your posts, I'm sure there are many more share my opinion. If you bring out a book I will be looking for a signed copy. Speaking of, any plans to release one?

Yeah it's just in line with all the other Gen Z stuff we're seeing in advertising nowadays, I get that we're older so we are biased but I hate most of it.
While the new Jaguar branding is fucking awful and not in line with the history of the company it's funny as hell watching all the MAGA and homophobes lose their fucking mind 🤣
Never a dull moment, small snippet of some of my documentary work from my day job as a bar owner. Hopefully put the best stuff in a book some day. #documentaryphotography #theirishpub #corkcity #fujifilm
Allen Macweeney has a great book from his days living in Dublin where after he posted them to an old Dublin Facebook group he included the comments in the book to give readers context to the photos and the places, it's a great idea and a fantastic book.
The current street photography hashtag here is pretty abysmal and hopefully not a sign of things to come, I'd like an alternative to Instagram for photo sharing but the majority on the hashtag isn't even related to street photography, or at least not what I deem as street. A photo of a building eg.
Cork in colour. 2020-2022. First image is edited in Lightroom to make it more digital art, other 3 are as I saw them. #streetphotography #fujifilm #fujifilmx100v #corkcity #abstraction
After Dark. Night scenes in Cork city back in 2019-2020. #streetphotography #nightphotography #neonlights #corkcity
No idea if this will take off like photo Twitter back in the day but here's a set of photos to fire up into the void and hopefully they're seen by a few people. #streetphotography #canpubphoto #cork #fujifilm #leicaq2 - I also don't even know if hashtags are a thing here.
