I’ve been on Bluesky for a while now and I’m glad a lot of new people are coming over from X, and if I had one tip for them it would be to get used to seeing drawings of beefy animals with dicks the size of Stanley tumblers.

One of the first 5 people the app detected was someone who posts gore lmao I had to manually unfollow them
I've probably followed at least 10 porn or gore accounts by accident because their username is similar to people I followed on Twitter and this connection app I'm using can't differentiate the two. So please don't be alarmed if you see me following one of those accounts 💀
A lot less mindless interaction bait on here too since you can't get paid off interactions, so you get people's real opinions instead of bullshit. It's pretty nice

Twitter, as we knew it, no longer exists. “X” is a cesspool of misinformation and propaganda.
I’ve been reluctant to put a lot of energy into a “Twitter alternative” because none of them have taken off.
But I hope we can regain that global conversation someplace again. Maybe this is the place.
