Listening to Kennedy today….saying that Elizabeth Warren should go home and have a long talk with her husband, is beyond condescending. He definitely knows better…just belittling Warren, as a woman who doesn’t understand. 🤮

They have shown, through their actions, their bravery, time and time again. War is terrible. I’m glad your brother can and does ride with his comrades to continue awareness.

I’m not in to him, any more than MTG, but I will watch to see where his new found “wokeness” takes him. MTG isn’t going to flip to liberal, but she is open to talking…so I can only encourage what I see as positive change, but reserve my enthusiasm, as trust is earned.

I don’t agree with him most of the time…I consider him sly. I’m just pointing out that though he sounds like a hick, he’s actually well-educated; his folksy sound is to appeal to his base.

You don’t always have to agree with Kennedy, but don’t sell him short. He sounds like a country bumpkin, but he’s actually a very smart man with a lot of education and training under his belt.

Carlson admits to not having high character, but that must not have been as hard as realizing that he is complicit in what is happening in society…the culture wars, election denial, etc., and making money from it!

Like MTG, some people do wake up. We’ll see where this goes.

I learned about AIPAC years ago…there are several…but I believe all PACs are worthless. Too much money to buy and sell our elections. They all act similarly. The saying “follow the money” is so true.

….the atrocities in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria and Lebanon, have brought their extreme government to light. Netanyahu is moderate to some. It’s mind-blowing…all in the name of religion or ethnicity. Not all Israelis, or Jews worldwide, support what’s happening today, or in the past.

….writes letters for them….representatives vote blindly for funding Israel. This is my view and probably the view of others. Israel is not a poor country; they have a budget and can provide for their own defense. We have been providing for them out of our pockets for years. ….

AIPAC has been around awhile and has had a tight grip on Congress reps. People have been afraid to speak out because they are then considered antisemitic, and after the holocaust, no one wants an antisemitic label. AIPAC gives representatives trips to Israel, talking points, tells them how to vote….

The part msm plays in this is sickening to me. Though not the majority, there are Israelis and Jews worldwide, who are opposed to the Israeli government’s actions. It can’t just be Bernie Sanders or Cornel West, often portrayed as solitary individuals.

Very much so, but, thankfully, that is fragmenting as more and more people speak out.

It’s around the corner…I work taking care of someone, so that won’t stop, but I won’t buy anything or leave my home on that day. It’s a daily goal anyway, but I’d like to see more people participating.

All elected officials swear an oath to uphold the Constitution; the current majority don’t follow it…their oath is to Trump, and his ilk, who are running our country into the ground. Trump has also taken an oath, but he only cares about what benefits him and his family, as he lines their pockets.

Republicans hold the majority in our Congress; many votes are along party lines…Democrat or Republican. Republicans want to stay in power, are afraid to step up because the party won’t back them for reelection, or Trump holds something over them (like Epstein). It is sick. Our system is broken.
