Approaching one year of unemployment is terrifying and bills need to be paid. A year of pitching The Arab League of Misfits yielded zero funding so far, and competing with 45K laid-off devs is bleak. I urgently need freelance or full-time remote roles

Today’s lack of reliable sources when searching for information is annoying and frustrating and takes the joy out of any research. But gotta keep digging,
- googling the ai summary doesn’t really feel like a similar kind of adventure nor accomplishment.

Ahead of my NYU talk on the history/future of games journalism, I want to test a theory about how small/big games media is:
Please share links to where you get games reporting/criticism.
They can be a site, blog, YouTuber, streamer, social handle, podcast. They must be places/people you trust.

Heck I even put some accessibility into the website I made for the game! All images have meaningful alt text, and you can turn the filter off/change the font. I don't think anyone has even noticed it yet, but it's important to me people have the option so they can engage. murdermeetcute.com

Love that!!! 🤝
Oh yes that’s what we love to have in the industry!
The studios that get it right tend to do one simple thing: they listen early.
Not after launch. Or after backlash. Early.
