I don't have friends from my first time at college, I have very minimal friends from my 20s, and I have a small pool of friends from college round 2 and pretty much only friends at my current job really just solidifies my places as an auxillary(?) friend or not part of the core group no... 5/🤷

And I know overall this is how it needs to be and separating the memories from where I am now is healthy and reinforces I am happier with myself and what I have. But the harsh realization I don't have grade school friends, I don't have jr. High/highschool friends, 4/🤷

So when situations come up the amount of stress, sorrow, and the aches in my mind (what I assume is heartache for others) ruins my mood. Because despite everything I would love to share this with the people who aren't on the list of interactable characters anymore. 3/🤷

Bands are so niche and part of my music taste built with my highschool best friend and due to fallouts and friend group BS we are strangers. But the first thing I wanted to do was share this with that person. Sadly my relationships (outside my wife) have an expiration date. 2/🤷

One of the hardest parts of my story is dealing with the pain of having part of my mind ("heart") dedicated to a portion of old relationships. Ones that when something like seeing the back from the dead tour is the cab with paradise fears on the ticket and then realizing those two specific 1/🤷
