If you don't know what to practice drawing, use this system:
- Avoid overthinking (or journal your concerns)
- Warm up with automatic drawing
- As your drawing develops, ask yourself: Where do I lack confidence in this drawing?
- Take note, study that specific topic later
Give yourself 3 months of dedicated art practice AND:
- Draw 30-60 min a day minimum
- Draw what you love
- Surround yourself with creative people
- Analyze what is working/not working in your practice
- Regularly ask for feedback from peers

Sometimes I work on backgrounds for games like visual novels but it's not something I always talk about.
As a fan of visual novels (Thanks Steins;Gate) seeing one of my backgrounds in a game is a beautiful achievement.
