Scanning my follower list for bike folks: @jay.hightman.org @karlj21.bsky.social @thebikingengineer.bsky.social @rachag.bsky.social can we find a cargo bike to donate to this effort to get clean water to unhoused neighbors?
(I mean, our podcast is also solarpunk but not focused on fiction, so not really what you're looking for I'm guessing. But feel free to give us a follow on Mastodon - we are mostly active over there. climatejustice.social/@solarpunkpr...)
/sliiides over Sunvault: Stories of Solarpunk and EcoSpeculation is a good one to start with - it kind of kicked off the anthos in English (archive.org/details/Sunv...). Check out anything edited / authored by Sarena Ulibarri; I'd also recommed checking out Solarpunk Magazine solarpunkmagazine.com.
Magical!
Sounds like you've been busy!
How was the trans powerlifting event? That must have been fun!!

shows.acast.com/solarpunk-pr...

*dusts off bsky account*
We're back!
And we want to hear what good you've been doing in this world this week to fight back against all the backsliding that is happening...
Cover of the episode The Fantasies of Post-apocalyptic Dystopian Fiction, with Ariel Kroon shows a human figure walking away down a deserted beach, past he crumbling ruins of a brick house and a rusting ship run aground. In the distance, the city is burning.
We've made it to S4E9... an interview about the strangely unimaginative and oddly colonial fantasies of post-apocalyptic, dystopian fiction with our very own Ariel Kroon, who does, yes, have a PhD in it.

The Radical Democratizing Power of a Better Way to Make Things, With Sarah Hutton
www.solarpunkpresents.com/season-four/...
I was today year's old when I learned that 1 is not a prime number. Instead, whatever it is, is just what it is.
In fact, many of the mathematicians of antiquity didn't even consider 1 a number. It was just... unity.
Is radical and subversive art still radical and subversive if it doesn't accomplish anything?

Olivia Colman takes on Big Oil.
I swear, everything this woman makes makes me love her even more.

Imagine what agriculture in California could look like... although I wonder if it could feed as many people this way. On the other, other hand, feeding so many people is a false economy if it's not ultimately sustainable.

A shiny, healthy brown squirrel with a big, bush tail sniffing at a peanut on the lawn.
I can't remember the last time I saw a Jerusalem cricket in my mom's backyard (although it has been decades). But now there's tons of totally fearless squirrels. I think they've invaded from the eastern side of the continent.
Have fun!
A chain link fence, a dark purple sky, pavement, the silhouettes of palm trees, a line of street lights, an empty road and sidewalk, all waiting for day to begin
Los Angeles just before dawn.

Ich hatte keine Ahnung, dass heute Nudel-Tag war. Deshalb haben wir Quiche gegessen. Reste von Gestern. Leider kein Photo.
Did you know that in addition to our website, our Patreon, our Acast page, and our social media accounts, we have a YouTube channel? We're finally posting episodes there and today I put up our first short... just a moment involving turkeys when I was walking the dog.
