Is there 100k people going to be outside the Dáil today to see the heroic stand of independence take place within the Dáil ranks? Excellent! We welcome this incoming very much!

So, based on this video from Philip Dwyer, at about 3:30/4 pm, the crowd protesting at the Dail didn't reach as far as the Freemasons lodge. Using Mapchecker, for a very rough (& generous) estimate, there are barely a thousand people at the protest.

It's time to stop feeling bad about things that make us feel good.

Gardaí fail to arrest Martina and Ammi Burke to transfer them to the Dóchas Centre for contempt of court, as per the High Court ruling on Wednesday. Their efforts were hampered by the lack of cooperation by some family members. The Gardaí will be back no doubt.
