Ive taken to winding almost every thing into a ball when its new - when Im in a good mood and not later, in the middle of a fun project. i wrap a rubber band around each ball, and never again a tangled mess.

Internet search brand, name & color. Have had great luck finding one or more skeins in small shops.. like a scavenger hunt, and even with shipping costs, my hobby is way cheaper per hour than dinner or a movie

Search for it by name and color on-line. I’ve saved several projects finding a skein or two at small shops.
