For the past few days, I have turned off of Knight St. onto my street, and nearly hit some people standing in the middle of the intersection, oblivious to the world around them, taking photos of cherry blossoms…traffic backed up in the other direction. Sigh.

Did we read that BC has now over 400 health care professionals that have come from the states to work in BC? www.cbc.ca/news/canada/... If that was the goal, then a pretty good return on investment....just over $400 per person to get them to move to Canada for positions that needed filling

I live here...the cars exist here...but only for a moment or two, as they are quickly booked. You start looking for a car long before you need it, and game the system with the free 30 minute window.

If the city could have done something, they would have stopped this devastating detour. The is on the Province 100%… and on this project they’ve absolutely achieved peak government. Everyone possible hates it. But in their arrogance, they keep saying that this is better…for them

I think it needs to pass our city council as well…. And that’s not happening.

Dare to dream….imagine if we had a public transportation system that receives money from every possible level of government agency and installed public washrooms… that is the dream I am living for!

MP has more heroes than light poles…..which is why this needed to expand! There is also an issue of funding, and a slight technical issue around banner sizes….but I digress.

Father’s Day….the beginning of “festival “ season.

The City Of Vancouver plays a big part in when these festivals are held. There are only so many resources to go round.
It is like jockeying for position on the calendar

Sigh is right. What they really meant to say was thank you for coming out and supporting our festival and helping us highlight all of the fantastic businesses on Main Street. It is you who make it better and please have a safe trip home.
