I want these people to go look at the old magazines from 1980. People HATED Empire because it wasn't a straightforward hero saves the day story. The idea that any of the fan backlash is about "good storytelling" rather than fans wanting to own stories and exclude people from them is just..inaccurate

I'm in the middle of book 3, and while I'm enjoying it, it has lost a bit of the spark that books 1 and 2 had for me. It's very hard for me to follow all this train stuff in my head. Hoping book 4 will be a bounce back for me.

The received wisdom is that TMNT 3 was terrible and ruined the movie franchise, but man, having watched all of them recently, TMNT 2 sucks out loud. And yeah, TMNT 3 is a bad movie, with bad effects and horrendous dialogue, but at the very least it has an actual plot with characters that do stuff

It was shocking to me watching that movie recently how little plot it has. Like almost none at all. And how stupid all the characters act. When the TMNT are trying to give T&R the donuts with the formula in them, Shredder is just standing there watching them acting like clowns like it's just a show.

Even when they were doing 2 set blocks, the 2nd set often felt like they were stretching things too thin. Oath of the Gatewatch, Aether Revolt, Rivals of Ixalan. None of them felt necessary. Sure Oath added wastes and colorless, but all that did was make BFZ look weird and dumb for not having it.

The Lions need to get rid of those uniforms. I saw that picture and was like "when TF did he sign with Carolina?"

I'm fine with Stanley being their 6th D and getting like 7 minutes a night. In no universe should Schenn be playing unless they have an injury, and if he does play, he absolutly should NOT be getting 14 minutes

I'm not arguing that he doesn't and deserve to be booed forever. But I think in that situation, the atmosphere is going to be so party like that people would just kinda forget about it. If he came back under any other circumstance tho, merciless boos.
