Take me back
Posts by Paul Watson
Shout out to the only three games I played on Switch last year
Fondly remembering the time I used to get paid to tweet at Nintendo demanding a sequel to ARMS and post increasingly unhinged edits of the Sonic movie.
We washed him
MiniDisc deserved better
Finished Silksong and got fired straight into HK, I'm so Team Cherry pilled
Congrats to Zohran Mamdani, whose campaign aesthetic was some of the best design work I've ever seen in politics. Super vibey, 10/10
I learned how to make proxies and my friends are about to hate playing with me
Help I started playing Creed in the car as a funny joke on my girlfriend but now I think I like Creed and I'm listening to Creed on my own all the time
Slightly embarrassed to admit that I've just bought a fifth ipod.
New tattoo. New tattoo!
New public post on the Quinns Quest Patreon! I'm twiddling my tiers to launch Quinns' Campaign Diaries. It looks a bit like the Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends logo, which makes me happy www.patreon.com/posts/134330...
@godribbon.bsky.social I think you'd dig TagYerit btw: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSBs...
Something that brings me great joy these days is when I come across ANCIENT websites which are still - inexplicably - alive
HAUNTII MENTIONED 💚
lol we just skeeted the same thing
And that's FINE. It's a non-issue, really. I just sort of miss the days when a new console was an entirely new platform, with an entirely new ✨vibe✨. "Our console is cube-shaped this year so the UI is going to be all about cubes." That kinda thing.
Unboxing today's New Console didn't fill me with the same dopamine hit as such things used to.
Maybe because - small differences aside - opening & setting up a Switch 2 is the exact same experience again.
No weird new Nintendo UI, no odd new media format. It's the Switch, but she's got a new hat
Cloud streaming indeed
Continuing the trend of Quinns and myself being flung into lavishly-designed roleplay experiences, here's what happened when we boarded a £4,000,000 starship together in London:

And then of course we invented the SmithSoft S2 operating system, Quinns Quest and Knowledge Dungeon software packages. As a big Windows 95 and Encarta fanboy - this was naturally a dream to work on.
One of my absolute favourite things is making dumb props and boy howdy did we ever do some of that this year.
You might be asking yourself - "did these fools make an entire ass issue of a magazine just for a skit?" You bet your pencils we did! Keep an eye out for all the other pages.
Ever hear of stars and wishes? It's a GM thing. After a session, you go around the table & share stars (things you loved) & wishes (things you'd have liked more/less of, etc).
I've so many stars from collaborating w/ Q on S2. Zero wishes. Some of the work I'm most proud of is in today's episode.
Quinns Quest Season 2 is NOW LIVE!
We start with a double feature reviewing Delta Green, purely so I can go *straight* into a review Impossible Landscapes, one of the best campaigns ever made. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mx_y...
I hope y'all are ready for some 💿MULTIMEDIA🎞️
Tomorrow
Ah fuck
He's only gone and done it
