Library lovers, we need your help. A recent executive order calls for the elimination of IMLS, the only federal agency that funds libraries nationwide. Without IMLS, many of the resources and programs we love could be at risk.

The newspaper comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz originally published December 7, 1989. Marcie, as the French lass, walks by as Snoopy, The World War I Flying Ace, stands with a heart above his head, looking at her and smiling with his front paws clenched to his chest. Marcie continues to walk by, ignoring him. Snoopy, now frowning, kicks the heart.
