I highly recommend following the diagram and not the written instructions. Normally, I use the written format but this particular pattern got… vague 🥴

My daughter helped me with several rows, so it really helped give my wrist a break. But now I’m a crazy lady and want to make another one for my Mother’s Christmas present 🥴 Giving them as gifts keeps the motivation going!

Finally finished my first ever shawl. It took so long because I was trying to wrap my brain around the new diagrams but we got there in the end! I was determined because it was a birthday present for a lovely friend! There’s nothing quite as addictive as crochet! 🧶

YES! Although I’m sure my first socks will probably be more like slippers until I learn to shape better 🤓

Found these lovelies on my walk the other day. My favorite park right by the lake ALWAYS has fun fungi! 🍄📷 #FungiFriends 🍄📷

My acorn cap turned out better than expected. I wonder what other gnome hats I can make?? The hat is made from nalbinding and the leaves are crocheted. 🧶

FINALLY, after much research and a bunch of trial and error, I successfully created a pointed cap from nalbinding. It’s an obscure craft, nearly lost in history, which makes me love it even more! I wonder if I can add some needle felted embellishments 🤔 #nalbinding
